The Shadow Garden allows us revisit the stories and lessons that shaped us and consider what they may have concealed. By placing unsettling truths within the familiar visual language of childhood, the work confronts that moment when innocence gives way to awareness—when the world we were promised begins to look different from the world we inhabit. It allows us to look beyond our past perceptions of reality and into the shadows where its contradictions take root.
